Dr. Colman, a native of Manchester, New Hampshire, is a writer, author, poet and conference-speaker, with more than 30 years of professional teaching and writing experience, including 15 years of cross-cultural teaching and leadership experience in Africa and India. He holds a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies, and has taught multiple disciplines on both the graduate and undergraduate levels in numerous colleges and universities.
His range of teaching and communication 
expertise includes Intercultural Communication and Cross-cultural (Communication) Competency, English Literature and Composition, Biblical Studies and French. Dr. Colman is fluent in French and in Jula, the lingua franca of much of sub-Saharan West Africa.
